A terrific start to the Netball Series in the Caribbean has seen England take an early 1-0 lead with a hard fought victory in the Jamaican capital. Pam Cookey, Viper 10 Ambassador, captained the side to a win, the fourth in a row in 2013 maintaing a proud 100% record for the year.
Following the series victory in January against the Australian Diamonds, Anna Mayes’ side travel to Jamaica keen to translate this form and retain momentum against the Sunshine Girls.
Showing fantastic consistency throughout the match, England sealed a first test victory denying the Sunshine Girls the opportunity to take the lead. The touring party now look ahead to tomorrow morning's second match and a chance to quickly wrap up a Series win.
Congratulations to our Viper 10 Ambassador Pamela Cookey as well as Hertfordshire Mavericks Sasha Corbin, Lindsay Keable and coach Karen Atkinson who are also travelling with the England Squad.

Viper 10 Sportswear are proud to be partnering with Eyes On Athletes, a new website offering a platform to showcase sporting talent and connect the sporting community.
Starting with rugby, this new social network allows sportsmen and women from grass roots to professional Clubs, Coaches, Agents and Fans the chance to upload their profile and connect with each other.
There are many talented, dedicated individuals who are struggling to find the success they deserve because they do not have the necessary exposure. Eyes On Athletes solves this problem by allowing players to promote themselves.
Eyes On Athletes also aims to help members of the rugby community look for both playing and work opportunities. Clubs can search for and find the talent needed to build their squad or advertise specific playing opportunities to an enthusiastic and engaged pool of registered players, while employers have the opportunity to advertise employment vacancies.
Check out Eyes on Athletes for all the latest Rugby News in their Blog and Forum.
